SAN JUAN RIVER FISHING REPORTS ARCHIVE - 2010 Fishing Report for February, 2010 Fishing on the San Juan is hot even though it seems that Spring and Winter are dueling with no victor yet in sight. We have been doing all float trips recently, and the fishing has been fantastic with many fish over 20 inches coming to the net. Red larvae flies have been responsible for most of the rainbows while leeches in black, grey, and white have been fooling aggressive brown trout. Egg patterns, especially yellow and orange, have been producing as have midge pupae. Calls and emails have been pouring in from people looking to book spring trips, so make your reservations soon.
