Map From Durango/Airport to the San Juan River
Take Hwy 172 through Ignacio. When you cross the New Mexico border the Hwy changes to 511. When you reach the dam proceed down the side of the dam. You are at the San Juan quality water now. To get to Rainbow Lodge, keep going down 511 for 5 miles to Hwy 173 and make a right turn. Go down the hill and cross back over the river. Take the first left and follow CR 4277 to the Lodge. The drive is approximately 45 minutes from the Airport and 55 minutes from Durango.
